The 2 shelters opened on Nov. 11 Both using limited volunteers for this year. We are signed up to serve at both sites and provide evenings meals during our shifts. We will serve St. Paul Single Men’s Shelter from Wed. DEC 8 – Fri. Dec 10. St Paul’s provides meals and overnight stay for 30 single men. Social Justice Team – First Meeting! The first meeting of the new Social Justice Team will be held on Thursday, January 6 at 6:30 p.m. The team will start by gathering information and making decisions to inform the type of work we wish to undertake through this team. Christmas Eve Services will be at 4 pm, 7 pm and 9 pm with the 4 pm being directed towards families. Come Celebrate the Birth of the Christ Child with us.

caroling party
Caroling Party Join us on Saturday, December 18 at 1:00 PM for a Caroling Party. We will meet at the church and then walk across our North Lot to the neighborhood behind it to sing Christmas carols. Many of us have missed singing! We will be outside and physically distance from each other so it will be safer to sing and provide a chance to reach out to some of our neighbors. Come prepared for the weather.
ALL Youth Christmas Party
All Youth Christmas Party! All Youth Christmas Party details: On Wednesday, Dec 15 at 6:30-7:45pm we will ALL meet together for a Christmas Party to kick off Winter Break. Everyone should bring a gift $5 or less for the gift exchange. Make sure it is gender neutral and something you would enjoy receiving.
Charge Conference
Charge Conference is the annual business meeting of the church. In addition to basic business like adopting the pastor’s salary and electing officers, this year our District Superintendent, Kathleen Weber will lead us in a reflection around racial injustice.
Lions Club Shredding Event
A local Lion’s Club will be hosting a free paper shredding event in the parking lot of the church Saturday, 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. This is a fundraising event for the Lion’s Club so while there isn’t a fee for shredding, donations are appreciated.
