A local Lion’s Club will be hosting a free paper shredding event in the parking lot of the church Saturday, 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. This is a fundraising event for the Lion’s Club so while there isn’t a fee for shredding, donations are appreciated.

Outdoor Movie Night 8:00pm-11:00pm All youth welcome! Head over the Meyer’s house for outdoor movie fun. Bring a chair, blanket, whatever you need for an outdoor setting. Mill Plain UMC serves as a fresh fruit and vegetable distribution point for Clark County Food Bank on the second and fourth Wednesdays during the summer, through September.
The Food Bank is opens from 1:30-2:30 PM every first and third Thursday from June to September. All are welcome and any food donations are welcome as well. If you would like to volunteer to help please email email@example.com

Last regular youth group meeting is June 9, MS at 5:30-6:45pm HS at 7-8:15pm We will walk over to Cold Stone for ice cream to celebrate the end of the school year! Youth Group will cover the ice cream, no need to bring money.
Join Pastor Sue for an Advent book study of Names for the Messiah by Walter Brueggemann. Participants should order the book and read the first chapter in advance of the first class. Charge Conference is the annual business meeting of the church. In addition to basic business like adopting the pastor’s salary and electing officers, this year our District Superintendent, Kathleen Weber will lead us in a reflection around racial injustice.
