Lions Club Shredding Event
A local Lion’s Club will be hosting a free paper shredding event in the parking lot of the church Saturday, 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. This is a fundraising event for the Lion’s Club so while there isn’t a fee for shredding, donations are appreciated.

Clark County Fresh Food Bank
Mill Plain UMC serves as a fresh fruit and vegetable distribution point for Clark County Food Bank on the second and fourth Wednesdays during the summer, through September.

The Food Bank is opens from 1:30-2:30 PM every first and third Thursday from June to September. All are welcome and any food donations are welcome as well. If you would like to volunteer to help please email info@millplainumc.org

Last Youth Group Meeting
Last regular youth group meeting is June 9, MS at 5:30-6:45pm HS at 7-8:15pm We will walk over to Cold Stone for ice cream to celebrate the end of the school year! Youth Group will cover the ice cream, no need to bring money.

Advent Book Study
Join Pastor Sue for an Advent book study of Names for the Messiah by Walter Brueggemann. Participants should order the book and read the first chapter in advance of the first class.
